PURPOSE:To obtain a superior image by rapidly desilvering a photosensitive material having an antihalation layer made of a black colloidal silver and an emulsion layer contg. AgI in a specified amt. or more, and the photographic constituent layers specified in the total thickness or less with a bleach-fixing soln. contg. an org. acid ferric salt. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and a thickness of the total photographic constituent layers of <=25mum is composed of the antihalation layer made of a black colloidal silver, and blue- sensitive, green-sensitive, and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers each having at least one emulsion layer contg. >=0.5mol% AgI, and of an undercoat layer, an interlayer, and a surface protective layer. This photosensitive material is exposed and developed, and then, processed with the bleach-fixing soln. contg. an org. acid ferric salt having a mol.wt. of >=280, and at least one of bleach accelerators represented by formula I-V, thus permitting the bleach-fixing time to be greatly reduced, desilvering to be completed, and both of ultrahigh sensitivity and effective use of silver to be attained. |
