A sound pick-up device for musical string instruments comprises a polyethylene foam piece (3) which is adjusted to the sound hole (2) of the instrument and which is provided with guiding channels for microphones (19, 20) and with supply leads (11). The microphones (19, 20) are arranged in the foam part (3) so that the surface of each microphone is accessible to sound waves of the resonant cavity of the instrument without meeting with obstacles. Such a sound pick-up device may be fabricated in large series and at reduced costs and may be adapted to all types of guitars and related string instruments. |
