PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain the continuous operation of a fuel cell for long hours by providing a small-sized bore penetrating through a matrix at a portion of concave grooves of a gas diffuse electrode, and thereafter by providing the opening of a supply bore of an electrolytic liquid at a gas separator facing the bore so as able to supply the electrolytic liquid. CONSTITUTION:A matrix 1 is put in a gas diffuse electrode 2 having plural reaction gas supplying concave grooves, and providing a gas separator 5 at the outside of it to form one cell, and laminating the multiple cells, and a fuel cell is composed. At this time, a small-sized bore 7 penetrating through the matrix 1 is provided at a portion of concave grooves 4 of the gas diffuse electrode 2, and an electrolytic liquid absorber 9 is inserted into the upper side of it, as well as, the gas separator 5 is made to provide the opening of a supply bore 8 so as to face the small-sized bore 7. The electrolytic liquid therefore is absorbed into the absorber 9, and, since enabling it to supply the electrolytic liquid into the matrix 1 by capillarity, the performance lowering of the fuel cell due to its continuous operation can be prevented. |
