<p>For an internal combustion engine, the end cap's length is such that it does not cover the commutator and the brushes, while a brush-carrier disc supports the corresponding end bearing of the secondary shaft. A closing cap has a cylindrical projection fitting the corresponding end of the end cap and ensuring the centering of the carrier disc relative to this cap. Pref. the brush-carrier cage of the insulated brush is assembled on the carrier disc with an interposed insulating plate and with non-conducting rivets.</p> |
