SUPPORTING DEVICE FOR AIR SEALING PIPE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which permits the simple, easy and safe attaching of an air sealing pipe and executes quickly and exactly the same by providing liftably an arm supporting member attached horizontally swivelably to an arm for supporting the air sealing pipe to a tower. CONSTITUTION:This supporting device for the air sealing pipe 1 for continuous casting is connected with the pipe 1 to the collector nozzle 5 of a rotary nozzle 10 provided to a ladle 4 so that the molten metal ion the ladle 4 is poured into a tundish 9. The tower 13 is vertically erected to the top end of a tower carriage 12 provided movably toward the ladle 4 of the above-mentioned device and the 1st arm 26 is horizontally swivelably provided to the arm supporting member 15 provided liftably to the tower 13. The 2nd arm 28 supporting said pipe 1 at the top end is horizontally swivelably provided to the top end of the 1st arm 26.
