PURPOSE:To quickly construct strip footings without formworks by a method in which foundation concrete blocks of a fixed length and an inversed T-shaped cross section are erected in parallel in a trench, and cement mortar is packed into grooves provided in the connections of the blocks of construct a strip foundation. CONSTITUTION:A foundation concrete block 1 is of an inversed T-shaped cross section, consisting of footings 3 on the lower end, a strip footing portion 2, a through hole 4 provided in the strip footing portion 2, grooves 6 provided on the upside of the footing portion 2, and semi-circular grooves 5 for connection on both sides of the footing portion 2. A trench 8 is excavated in a place where a foundation for housing is to be constructed, and cobble stones 9 and leveling concrete 10 are placed in the trench 8. These blocks 1 are erected in parallel on the concrete 10 and cement mortar is packed into the grooves 5 in the connections to construct a strip footing. The foundation can thus be constructed in a short period of construction without use of formworks and also without waiting for drying of the strip footing. |
