PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the alteration of a pull system and a push-in system only by the alteration of the paper running route of a continuous slip, by integrating the paper feed units of both systems. CONSTITUTION:The setting of paper to a tractor unit in a pull system is performed by bringing a first tractor cover 16 to an open state and aligning and engaging the feed perforations of a continuous slip with pins 3 before returning the tractor cover 16 to a closed state. A drive shaft 13 is rotated to the direction shown by the arrow A by a power source to perform paper feed in the pull system. Next, at the time of a push-in system, a second tractor cover 17 is brought to an open state and the feed perforations of the continuous slip 20 passed the upper side of the first tractor cover 16 is engaged with pins 6 before the second tractor cover 17 is brought to a closed state. The continuous slip 20 is passed along the underside of a platen 9 and passed through the gap between the platen 9 and a printing head 19. The drive shaft 13 is rotated to the direction shown by the arrow A by the power source to perform the paper feed in the push-in system. |
