PURPOSE:To produce dry ice from liquefied carbon dioxide gas free from water, economically, in high thermal efficiency, by compressing recovered carbon dioxide gas admixed with water, and introducing the compressed carbon dioxide gas together with liquefield carbon dioxide gas free from water into a carbon dioxide gas liquefier. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied carbon dioxide gas LG is supplied from the liquefied carbon dioxide gas tank 1 to the carbon dioxide gas liquefier (liquefier) 2. The carbon dioxide gas G recovered in the forming process of dry ice is mixed with a specific amount of water by the water-supplying means 7 attached to the third pipe K3 in the cource of being passed from the accumulator 5 to the compressor 6, and the water-containing carbon dioxide gas is transferred to the compressor 6. The water-containing carbon dioxide gas is pressurized by the compressor 6 to a pressure higher than the triple point pressure, and supplied to the liquefier 2. The water-containing carbon dioxide gas is mixed in the carbon dioxide gas liquefier 2 with the flashed carbon dioxide gas G supplied from the tank 2, and liquefied to obtain liquefied carbon dioxide gas LGH. |
