The temperature-controlled regulating valve, in particular for heating systems, consists of a valve housing (1), a valve top part with a valve-plate actuating spindle (4) which is axially displaceable, and of a thermostat head (11) or regulating member with a tappet that interacts with the actuating spindle (4). An adaptor (9) is arranged in a manner which allows it to be adjusted by rotation about the axis of the valve spindle (4) and to be fixed on the valve housing (1). The thermostat head (11) or the regulating member can be fixed on this adaptor (9) with the axis of the tappet perpendicular to the axis of the actuating spindle (4), and a device, e.g. a bell crank lever (13), for deflecting the movement of the tappet through 90 DEG onto the valve spindle (4), is provided in the adaptor (9). <IMAGE>
