PURPOSE:To easily set the automatic answering tlephone device from a visit place by dialing the telephone number of a telephone set to which the automatic answering telephone device at the visit place and sending a specific call signal. CONSTITUTION:An incoming detecting circuit 3 detects the on signal of the call signal and increases the value of a counter 4 by one at every time. This is detected by a controller 5 such as a microprocessor and a motor 6 and a message tape rewinding plunger 7 are actuated to start rewinding a message tape. A tape drive detecting circuit part 11 sends a signal to the controller 5 continuously during the tape run and senses the arrival of the tape at its origin when the signal is ceased. Then a message, tape playback plunger 8 and a timer 12 are actuated to perform program searching operation. The timer 12 sends a signal to the controller 5 when a time necessary for the program search is elapsed, and the controller 5 stops the program searching operation on detecting the signal. Therefore, the message part 19 is placed in a recording ready state. |
