PURPOSE:To enable an accurate molded article, consisting of soft material, to further promote its lightness and thinness, by inserting a metal into the soft material so as to increase its strength and prevent deformation, in the case of accurate molded article consisting of the soft material. CONSTITUTION:A accurate molded article, for instance, a gear 1 for a mechanical timer is formed by providing teeth 2, 3 by a soft material of urethane or the like. Here a metallic plate 4 is inserted into the soft material forming the gear 1. And a thickness H2 in a central part 5 of the gear 1 is set toa size about equal to a width of the tooth 2. In this way, when a product is removed from a molding metal mold, deformation of the soft material forming the gear 1 can be prevented by the metallic plate 4. Accordingly, the accurate molded article, increasing strength of the gear 1 consisting of the soft material, enables the gear 1 to further promote its lightness and thinness. |
