Process for producing a covering

Process for producing a covering having an uneven surface using an ultrasonic welding device. Ultrasonic welding webs (4) are arranged such that they correspond with a given final shape into which the covering is to be formed. A three-layer laminated arrangement is pressed against the web arrangement and subjected to ultrasonic heating, producing welding of the three-layer laminated arrangement at selected zones in order to bring it into the final shape.
