PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate output and to obtain a monostable multivibrator suitable for an IC circuit by setting up a charge accumulating capacitor to discharged state normally, and after starting the charge on the basis of a trigger input and outputting a prescribed monostable output, discharging the capacitor again. CONSTITUTION:Since the capacitor 7 is set up to the discharged state normally, a point (b), the output point (c) of an inverter 10 and an output terminal 11 are set up to L, H and H respectively. When an edge is inputted to an input terminal 6 at a time t1, a control circuit 12 turns a switch 9 from ON to OFF and the output terminal is simultaneously turned to L because the output of the circuit 12 is also connected to an NAND circuit 13. The capacitor 7 starts to be charged gradually from the time, and when the voltage of the point (b) exceeds a threshold voltage VS, the output point (c) of the inverter 10 is turned to L and the output terminal 11 is turned to H. The output of the inverter 10 is transmitted to the circuit 12 to turn on the switch 9, so that the charge of the capacitor 7 is discharged and the capacitor 7 is returned to the original status. |
