PURPOSE:To record a desired broadcast program securely by detecting a program start code and starting sound recording, and inhibiting switching to another mode until a program end code is detected and the sound recording is stopped. CONSTITUTION:When a coincidence detecting circuit 4 detects the program start code detected by a program identification detecting circuit 3 coinciding with a program start identification code set with a program selection switch 5, the circuit 4 outputs a coincidence detection signal to a control circuit 6, which sets a latch circuit 61. The circuit 61 outputs a signal REC to a sound recorder 7, which records a demodulated sound signal from a tuner 2. In this case, an inverter 63 inhibits a reproducing command 81 and a rewind command 82 outputted through the operation of a command control circuit 8 to be passed through AND gates 84 and 85. The circuit 3 detects the program end signal and when the signal coincides with a code set with the switch 5, the circuit 4 sets the latch circuit 62 of the circuit 6 and resets the circuit 61. Consequently, the sound recording of the sound recorder 7 is topped, rewinding to the start point of the sound recording is performed, and the commands 81 and 82 from the circuit 8 are released from being inhibited. |
