PURPOSE:To increase a processing speed and also to reduce an occupied data area by performing the exclusive control for each hierarchy unit in a logical store structure consisting of data groups of each hierarchy type and each hierarchy related type. CONSTITUTION:A range 3 of a record F having a store structure where records E and F are continuous to a record B is divided into subranges SR1, SR2 and SR3. A range 2 of the record E is related with the range 3 with a set 4 showing the relation. The ranges SR1-SR3 have corresponding blocks respectively. Under such conditions, only the range SR1, for example, can be occupied. In other words, only the SR1 is occupied instead of all blocks forming the SR1. The resource control is effective to the request of occupation of only a certain block belonging to the range SR1. |
