Soil-working, sowing and cultivating appliance with driven implements, press-down wheels or press-down rollers

Soil-working appliances with oscillating coulters and a milling-cutter roller have reduced pulling-force requirements. This can be reduced even further by means of the drive of the press-down elements and supporting wheels. Figures 1 and 3 show a self-propelled vehicle, on the frame 2 of which are arranged the driving wheels 3, the combination 5 and the press-down roller 13. During work, the rear appliance weight rests on the driven press-down roller 13 which ensures part of the advance. For turning and transport, the driving wheels 3 are set in the longitudinal direction, the transport wheel 4 is let down and the press-down roller 13 and, if appropriate, the sowing appliances 17 are lifted to the platform 18. The appliance can be turned about its vertical axis by means of a corresponding wheel setting of the driving wheels 3. Instead of the soil-working implements, cultivating appliances, such as hoeing implements or spray devices, can be mounted under the frame 2 on the holder 8. <IMAGE>
