<p>Case 3-13444/MAC 1803 Canada Aminoalkyl aromatic compounds and their production New compounds having the formula R4(QNH2)2 I wherein the residues QNH2 are the same or different and each is a residue of formula < IMG > wherein n is an integer from 1 to 15, R1 is C1-C8 alkyl, R2 is C1-C4 alkyl or R1 and R2, together with the carbon atom to which they are attached, form a C5-C8 cycloalkylene residue, R3 is H or C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl or C6-C10 aryl with the proviso that if R4 = 1,4-phenylene, n = 3 and R1 = R2 = Methyl, R3 is different from H, and R4 is a mono- or polyvalent C6-C20 aromatic or C4-C20 .pi.-excessive heterocyclic residue; these compounds are useful as intermediates for polyamides and plastics.</p> |
