PURPOSE:To eliminate chamfering by moving a stationary core for forming an end ring in a direction perpendicular to a mold opening and closing direction, and engaging and holding the bore of a rotor guide at the opening and closing time, thereby preventing the end ring from displacing from centering. CONSTITUTION:A gap DELTAd is formed on the outer periphery of a stationary core 14 for forming an end ring 7 with a pin point gate 9 which communicates with a molten material passage so that the core 14 may move in the direction perpendicular to the mold opening and closing direction. A projection projected from a split line P of the mold is formed on the end face of the core 14 at a rotor core 4 side, and the core 14 is engaged and held in the bore of a rotor guide 3 at the mold clamping time. Thus, even if the mold thermally expands, the concentricity between the core 4 and the ring 7 is obtained, and the chamfered portion B of the guide 3 is spaced by the projection of the core 14. Thus, the chamfering after molding can be eliminated. |
