Slide-projecting device

A slide-projecting apparatus is fitted with a special mounting device with a view to better use of a camera lens. This mounting device consists of a 49 mm fine threaded ring onto which any commercially available camera lens can be screwed. The different threaded diameters could be compensated for with the aid of an adaptor ring. The unit, consisting of lens and mounting device, thus formed can then be mounted in the projection beam with the aid of a guide rail, which is firmly connected to the threaded ring, in such a way that the slide is projected sharply onto the wall for the distance selected. Fine or close regulation is performed by the focal length adjusting ring of the camera lens. Furthermore, the illuminating arrangement of the slide projecting apparatus can be separated from the remainder of the apparatus by releasing a locking mechanism, in order to use it further for other photographic purposes (e.g. developing apparatus for room projector).
