摘要 <p>A method for inducing superconductivity in substances at temps. of above 20 K comprises (1) selecting the material to be placed in the superconductive state on the basis of the super-ionisation theory and the chosen application, (2) selecting the most suitable means for inducing superconductivity at temps. of above 20 K on the basis of the technical facilities available and on economic consideration. The essential step is the artificial introduction of electrons into the electrically insulating material, supplemented by lowering of the temp. or press and/or increasing the surface area. Superconductivity can be induced in liquids by atomising the liq. in an electrically insulating ionisation chamber under low press. and temp. and simultaneously exposing to slow electron radiation or a high voltage field. Subsequently the mist is converted into a superconductive liq. by raising the press. without raising the temp.</p>
