<p>NEW MATERIAL:A tetrahydropthalimide of formula I (X is halogen; Y is H, halogen; Y is H, halogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl). EXAMPLE:N-[ 4-Chloro-2-fluoro-5-( isopropyloxyimino )methylphenyl ]-3,4,5,6-tetrahydrophthalimide. USE:It is used as a herbicide. In rice paddy, it can be used in pre-emergence soil treatment in vegitative period. In crop fields, it can be used in pre-emergence soil treatment and foliage and soil treatment. It can control dicot or manna grass, but hardly exerts influence on soybean, cotton, rice plant, wheat and so on. PREPARATION:A compound of formula II is allowed to react with a compound of formula III (Z is halogen) to give the compound of formula III (Z is halogen) to give the compound of formula I .</p> |
