PURPOSE:To perform glare-preventive treatment not deteriorating an impression of use by uniformly describing gauze points or mesh fine pattern dots on the whole face of a phosphor screen or a protective glass in an optional position between the phosphor screen and the surface of the protective glass. CONSTITUTION:The surface glass 1 and the electron gun mounting part 2 are formed en bloc while applying a phosphor substance 3 to the back of the glass 1. The electron guns 4 are mounted on the mounting part 2 while arranging a shadow mask 6, where a large number of shadow mask holes 5 are opened at equal intervals, in a required position between the phosphor screen 3 and the electron guns 4. And the surface glass is housed in a case 7 so as to polymerize it on the back of a protective glass provided on the case 7. The pattern dots 9, where round dots are uniformly described or the meshes are described, are described in an optional position between the phosphor screen 3 and the outer face of the glass 8 such as the outer face of the glass 1 or the inner face of the glass 1 or the outer face of the glass 8 or the inner face of the glass 8.
