PURPOSE:To obtain fine spectacle parts assuming a dark blue or black color and causing no deformation by using a rigid metal as the material of the metallic parts of spectacles when the metallic parts are plated with red copper and colored in a mixed soln. contg. copper sulfate and copper acetate. CONSTITUTION:The metallic parts of spectacles such as the frames, temples and bridge are made of a rigid metal suitable for spectacles such as an Ni-Cr alloy, an Ni-Cu alloy, stainless steel or a Ti alloy. The metallic parts are plated with red copper, and the plated parts are boiled in a mixed soln. contg. copper sulfate and copper acetate. Spectacle parts assuming a dark blue or black color can be obtd. |
