PURPOSE:To make the operation efficient by setting an originating subscriber to the holding state when an extension subscriber to be connected is busy and there are no extension subscribers to be connected and connecting the originating subscriber and the busy extension subscriber after the call of the busy extension subscriber is terminated. CONSTITUTION:When an office subscriber 5 requests to call plural extension subscribers individually, a server of a B board depresses at first a ''continuous call'' button and dials the number of an extension subscriber to be first connected and depresses the ''continuous call'' button again and dials the number of an extension subscriber to be next connected. Then, a central office line trunk 6 is connected to extension subscribers 7 and 8. If the extension subscriber to be connected is busy and the number of the next extension subscriber is not registered in this automatic continuous call, the central office line trunk 6 is connected to a holding tone generator 9 to set the originating subscriber to the holding state. Immediately after the busy extension subscriber becomes idle, the extension subscriber whose busy state is released and the subscriber 5 are connected. |
