<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a paper feed operation by providing a movable paper pushing-up member for forcing any paper on a paper supporting bench to make contact with a paper feed means in the captioned device wherein said paper supporting bench (cassette receiving bench) of a paper feed part is taken out in the direction perpendicular to the paper feed direction. CONSTITUTION:A cassette receiving bench 14 is provided just below a copying machine body A, i.e., between legs 13A, 13B, which is capable of being taken out in front of a device body A along guide rails 16A, 16B slidable along grooves 15A, 15B provided in said legs 13A, 13B. A recording paper cassette B is made replaceable in a taken-out state of said cassette receiving bench 14. A flap lever 19 is provided on the right side part of the cassette receiving bench 14 for flapping a bottom plate 17 of the cassette B toward a paper feed roller in the paper feed part with the device body A. This lever 19 is fixed on an intermediate portion along a flap shaft 20 extending in the width direction of the receiving bench 14 and controlled for its rotation by an energizing lever within the body A via a driven lever 22.</p> |
