PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition obtained by compounding a polyester with a specific aliphatic carboxylic acid (derivative), and having increased rate of crystallization and remarkably shortened injection molding cycle, without causing the lowering of the impact resistance and elongation nor the entrainment of air bubbles during the molding. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyamide resin with (B) 0.05-2pts.wt. of a polyester (preferably polyethylene terephthalate), (C) 0.02-1pt.wt. of a 26-32C aliphatic carboxylic acid or its derivative, e.g. an ester of montanic acid wax and a dihydric alcohol and (D) 0-1pt.wt. of a higher fatty acid bisamide compound (preferably ethylene bisstearylamide). A high injection molding cycle can be achieved by granulating the composition and applying 0.02-0.5pts.wt. of a metal stearate (preferably aluminum stearate) to the surface of the granule. The composition can be prepared, e.g. by melting and extruding a mixture of the components A and B, and attaching the components C and D to the surface of the extruded pellet, or by melting and extruding the mixture of the above four components and pelletizing the extrusion product. |
