PURPOSE:To attain the reproduction of images, etc. on a monitor TV in a fade-out mode by reducing the ramp voltage level gradually in response to a fade-out command and controlling the output of video signals, etc. and the discontinuation of operation of a tape recorder after a prescribed period of time and after the ramp voltage level reaches a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:When a fade-out switch S is turned on, a FF 6 is set and the ramp voltage which is reduced gradually is delivered from a ramp generator 9 via an OR circuit 6. Then a fader circuit 3 performs a fade-out operation. When the ramp voltage reaches its reference level, the output of a comparator 10 is inverted to H and a monostable multivibrator 11 is triggered. Then the output of a NAND circuit 13 is inverted to L via an exclusive OR circuit 12 after a delay time corresponding to the time width of the output of the vibrator 11. The L output of the circuit 13 serves as a tape recorder stopping signal and also switches a switch 14. Then the video and sound signals are supplied to a monitor TV from a terminal 2 through a line 16. Thus the video signals can be reproduced by the monitor TV ion a fade-out mode and therefore the tape editing is possible without using two monitor TV.
