PURPOSE:To improve the assembling property of a commutator by providing a support of a brush spring on the first surface for stopping the rotation of a brush spring and on the second surface continued at the prescribed rotary angle to the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a brush spring 2 is deeply inserted, a detent 2b for a brush holder 1 at the stationary end of the brush spring 2 is engaged from the second surface 1a of the holder 1 through the continuous surface 1c with the first surface 1b. Since the surface 2b of the detent is twisted at an angle theta at this time, the spring 2 is energized, and press-set to the outer periphery of a commutator 4 by the prescribed pressure of a brush 3. Thus, the spring is energized after inserting the commutator, so that the diameter formed by the end of the brush has a margin for the outer diameter of the commutator. Accordingly, the assembling property of the commutator can be improved. |
