A shielded connector assembly includes a first printed circuit board vertically oriented with respect to the assembly having an inner face directed toward an interior of the assembly and an outer face directed toward an exterior of the assembly. The first printed circuit board has a plurality of media filters formed on at least one face thereof. A plurality of optional light emitting diodes are mounted to the inner face of the first printed circuit board, and a plurality of terminal inserts are mounted to the inner face of the first printed circuit board. A housing member is provided for receiving the first printed circuit board having the described components mounted thereon.
