As the nature of clay minerals that are the main materials for soil is changed by plastic processing to include a wide selection of raw materials, this artificial soil for growing plants is excellent in keeping water and fertilizer. Also the quality of the soil does not cange even if kept for a long time. After mixing composite (1) and (2) in 25-85%: 15-75% by weight, sterilizing at a temp. of 80-250≦̸C, composite (3) is then mixed at 15:55% with (1) and (2) mixtures by weight. Adequate amount of N, P2O5 and K2O are combined and adjusted to pH 4.5-7.5.
