The adaptor (3) is hat-and saddle-shaped and is made of fibre reinforced plastics. Its bottom side is shaped to fit the roof of the house (2) underneath. Its edges have a fence structure which prevents snow and ice falling around the house, and assists in the collection of rain water. It also provides safety for people who may be on the house roof. The adaptor can also be used for conversion of the roofs of older houses, providing an aesthetic appearance, partic. if painted in an attractive colour, e.g. green. |
