PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material which fits to a thermal head properly without sticking or adhesion of scums, comprising specified amounts of a specified fluoran compound, sodium dialkyl sulfosuccinate as a dispersant and carboxyl group-modified PVA. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive color-forming layer contains a leuco dyestuff, which is composed of 100pts.wt. fluoran compound which has substituted or non- substituted amino groups at least at positions 3 and 7 (e.g. 3-(N-cyclohexyl-N- methylamino)-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran), 0.5-1.5pts.wt. sodium dialkyl sulfosuccinate of the formula (wherein R and R' are each alkyl) as a dipersant for the above fluoran compound and 3-7pts.wt. carboxyl group-modified polyvinyl alcohol, and a phenolic substance (e.g. 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol) as a developer. This heat-sensitive layer is applied on a supporting film to form a required thermal recording material. |
