NEW MATERIAL:A tryptophan-guanosine molecular compound consisting of one mole respective tryptophan, guanosine and water of crystallization. USE:A medicine usable for medical applications by decomposing the titled compound if necessary into the tryptophan and guanosine due to no contamination with impurities. PREPARATION:A mixture solution of tryptophan and guanosine is crystallized at 3-11pH to give the aimed substance. In the process, it is essential conditions to carry out the reaction under such conditions as not to form excess supersaturation of tryptophan and guanosine. For the conditions, the tryptophan and guanosine concentrations in the crystallized solution are set at a little higher than the sole solubilities thereof in the final cooled concentration by the cooling crystallization method, and the cooling temperature gradient is reduced, etc. The concentrating rate is reduced in the case of concentrating crystallization, etc.
