PURPOSE:To provide the titled sheet capable of easily obtaining a thermal transfer recorded image excellent in resolution and minute line reproducibility at low cost without changing an ink doner sheet, wherein the Bekk smoothness of the sheet is set to be not lower than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:The Bekk smoothness (according to JIS P-8119) of the thermal transfer recording sheet is set to be not lower than 200sec (average). Such high smoothness may be obtained by, for example, a method wherein a wood free paper for printing is supercalendered or a method wherein a pigment such as clay and a binder are applied on a paper, followed by supercalendering. |
