Device for influencing the tensioning of the conveying means of a band-conveying apparatus

In order to achieve hitherto unobtainable, advantageous properties, improvements are made to an apparatus of the generic type for influencing the tensioning of the conveying means of a band-conveying apparatus having a feed roll and a discharge roll. This is achieved in that there are arranged in each case at least two slots respectively on a line of action, running at least in the vicinity of a line which intersects the rotational axis of the feed roll and/or of the discharge roll, in the tensioning direction one behind the other in the associated roll carrier, and that there are provided abutment strips which engage over in each case one roll carrier from the side thereof which is remote from the framework. By means of screw elements which engage through the two roll-carrier slots, or through at least two thereof, and at least engage in abutment-strip holes arranged at corresponding hole spacings, said abutment strips, while fixing the associated roll carrier between them and the framework in the operating position, in a frictionally locking manner, can be fastened on said framework. The abutment strips each have an abutment flange which extends, from their end remote from the roll, at approximately right angles in the direction of the framework and has an internal thread. A threaded bolt which is supported, by its end close to the roll carrier, on an end surface of the associated roll carrier is guided in an axially displaceable manner in said internal thread and, if required, can be fixed in the desired operating position by means of a lock nut.
