PURPOSE:To control quickly and exactly the injection speed of a shot plunger by measuring continuously said speed, calculating the average value obtd. by multiplying said speed by a coefft. at every shot, and correcting the opening of an injection speed regulating valve in accordance with said value. CONSTITUTION:The injection speed of a shot is measured in the prescribed shot plunger position of an injection molding device and the value thereof is recorded. When the number of the measured and recorded values attains a required number, a weight average value is determined by multiplying the measured value by a coefft. which has successively increasing numerical value. Whether the average value is within a permissible range or not is decided, and if the value is within a permissible range, the operation is returned to the original step and the shot is repeated. If the value exceeds a permissible range, the difference between the weight average value and the target value is calculated and the opening or closing degree of an injection speed regulating valve is corrected according to the difference, by which the injection speed of the shot plunger is controlled. The accuracy and yield of the product are improved by such controlling method. |
