PURPOSE:To enhance the vapor condensation capability of cooling pipe as a whole and to reduce the pressure loss so that the condensation performance may be improved by providing a flow speed distribution generator at a cooling water inlet in order to generate a cooling water flow speed distribution. CONSTITUTION:The piping arrangement of a condensor is such that it is sparsely arranged in an outer sparse arrangement section 8 and is densely arranged in an inner dense arrangement section 9. Therefore, the cooling water which is made to flow fast in its outer area and slower in the inner area flows in such a manner that the cooling water in the outer area flows into the outer sparse arrangement section 8 and the cooling water in the inner area flows into the dense arrangement section 9 at corresponding speeds. Because of this, the heat conductivity in the sparse arrangement section 8 is improved. As for the dense arrangement section 9, since the transmission rate is poor outside the piping, the overall heat transmission rate is not so poor as might be expected. As the vapor condensation capaility is improved in the sparse arrangement section 8, the overall performance of the condensor is improved, and a condensor with a less pressure loss can be obtained. |
