PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-track head which integrates a head element to high density by providing a usual cooling means and a forced cooling means on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A hollow structure used for both supporting and cooling a substrate 1 is attached to the substrate 1 on which a lot of thin film heads 10 are formed. The substrate 1 is cooled by making a freon flow to a pipe 4 through the structure 2 from a pipe 3. In this way, a multi-track head which integrates the head 10 to high density is obtained. |
