PURPOSE:To provide a perfume-contg. resin which can uniformly emit well- balanced fragrance over a long period of time, by polymerizing diethylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate) in the presence of perfume. CONSTITUTION:A polymn. initiator is added to diethylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate) and perfume is mixed therewith. The mixture is filled in a mold having the desired shape, and uniformly polymerized at the desired temp., pref. at 45- 50 deg.C for 5-10hr and cured at 85-90 deg.C for 3-10hr. Industrially, a mixture consisting of diethylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate), a polymn. initiator and perfume is filled in a mold composed of a glass mold and a gasket made of a resin and cured by heating. Alternatively, a photopolymerization catalyst is added thereto and the mixture is cured by irradiating it with ultraviolet light. After the completion of the polymn., the desired perfume-contg. resin is taken out of the mold.
