PURPOSE:To intercept a wire and a feeder surface from the atomosphere as well as to aim at preventing any deterioration in insulation resistance, by jointly installing each of side covers being molded with an elastic insulating material solidly in the lower opening part of a wire cover, while energizing and making the side cover coherent to a collecting member in time of insertion. CONSTITUTION:A rod body 17 in a collecting member 22 is inserted into space between each of end part covers 5, while a collector ring 20 is forcibly pressed down to a feeder surface 2 at the lower part of a trolley wire 1. When the collecting member 22 is shifted, each of these ene part covers 5 is pushed wider by dint of the rod body 17 and simultaneously each of side covers 4 is curvedly deformed but when the rod body 17 runs past them, these coves are restored to their original state by their own righting moment, and the tip end part of these end part covers make contact with each other, that is, an insulating cover is automatically closed. Therefore, deterioration in insulation resistance caused by moisture, salinity, dust, etc., in the atomosphere is prevented, protecting the feeder surface from these harmful substances sticking on, thus conductive deterioration between the feeder surface and the collecting member can be obviated. |
