PURPOSE:To improve image reproducibility and durability by compounding a saponified polyvinyl acetate, a photopolymerizable monomer having an ethylenic unsatd. bond in a molecule, and a specific caprolactam. CONSTITUTION:This compsn. is formed of (A) 100pts.wt. fully hydrolyzed or partialy saponified polyvinyl acetate having 50-100mol% degree of saponification, (B) 20-200pts.wt. a photopolymerizable monomer having an ethylenic unsatd. bond in a molecule, and (C) 1-50pts.wt. alpha-N-dialkylamino-epsilon-caprolactam expressed by the formula (in which R1, R2 are an alkyl group of C1-15 such as methyl, ethyl or the like, R1 and R2 may be the same or different). Water solubility decreases considerably if the degree of saponification of the saponified polyvinyl acetate used as the component (A) is <50mol%. Substantial image reproducibility is unobtainable if the amt. of the component (B) to be used is <20pts.wt. and the relief is brittle if said amt. exceeds conversely 200pts.wt. The above-mentioned photosensitive compsn. has a high degree of image reproducibility and durability. |
