PURPOSE:To suppress the back gate effect of a P-MOS or an N-MOS and to suppress variation in on resistance due to variation in input voltage by equalizing the substrate potentials of the P-channel and N-channel MOS transistors (TR) of a switch to an input voltage. CONSTITUTION:The substrate potentials of the P-MOS and N-MOS TRs are equalized to the input voltage. An analog switch turns on when a signal phi is at a low potential (VSS) on the circuit, and high impedance is obtained between an input IN and an output OUT when the signal phi is at a high potential (VDD) on the circuit to turn off the switch. Then, the substrate potentials of TRs N1 and N2 become equal to the input voltage when a TRP1 or the TRN2 turns on. Assuming the input to be a source, the potential difference between the sources of the TRs N1 and N2, and the source due to variation in input voltage is eliminated, and the TRs N1 and N2 suppress the back gate effect. |
