PURPOSE:To prevent fogging owing to the sticking of water drops on a reading window by so forming an outdoor instrument box that the warm air flow therein does not directly contact the reading window. CONSTITUTION:A reading window 21 of a transparent member is provided opposedly to the front face 32 of an instrument 3 so as to enable the indicated value of the indicating part 31 of the instrument 3 housed in a cover 2 to be read from the outside. Further, a partition rib 22 formed in such a way that its tip part overlaps with the under surface 33 of the instrument 3 is provided below the opposing space 4 of the front face 32 of the instrument 3 and the reading window 21. Hence, even if the warm air flow ascending by creeping on the inside wall of the cover 2 is produced, it is blocked by the partition rib 22 and the under surface 33 of the instrument 3 and the inflow of the warm air flow into the space 4 between the front face 32 of the instrument and the reading window 21 is prevented. |
