PURPOSE:A novel makeup cosmetic, prepared by incorporating lycopodium as a disintegrating agent therein, having improved solft feeling and sliding property and lasting makeup property, and usable as a foundation, etc. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing lycopodium which is a dried spore of an evergreen prostrate herb club moss (Lycopodium clavatum L. var. nipponicum Nakai) of the family Lycopodiaceae or various species plants of the same genus as a disintegrating agent in an amount of 1-50wt%, preferably 3-20wt%. The cosmetic has improved disintegrating property, and will cause no caking phenomenon even in a pressed cosmetic with a relatively high oil content, deteriorate slightly the strength of the press molded cosmetic and further exhibit characteristics of mildening the oily touch of an oily cosmetic and giving a dry desirable touch. |
