PURPOSE:To combine digital line concentration and analog line concentration by limiting the use of some of cross points of a digital line concentrating module and handing them equivalently to an analog line concentrating module. CONSTITUTION:When a line module LM of different switch constitution is introduced, only cross points among all cross points of the digital line concentrating switch which are equivalent to those of the analog line concentrating switch are limited to use. Consequently, the link control channel selection logic of the analog line concentrating switch is applied to the digital line concentrating switch as it is. Therefore, when the control part of the digital line concentrating module converts the line module LM to a module for the digital line concentrating switch, the switchboard has both line modules LM of analog line concentration and digital line concentration without altering the software of a central processor CC nor a time-division channel TDNW. |
