The invention relates to a lighter, in particular a disposable lighter, with an associated bottle opener for bottles with crown corks. In order to achieve such a combination of lighter and bottle opener practically without change to the existing housing forms of lighters, the bottle opener projects according to the invention with its functional part beyond the housing of the lighter and is arranged preferably in the region of the fuel release lever of the lighter.
