Arrangement of suspension loops

In the arrangement of suspension loops closed on themselves on a carrier band for mechanical feeding to closing machines for tubes and bags, especially sausages, difficulties occasionally arise with the use of individual loops made by means of a knot, because the part loops in which the knot is located can easily twist. Moreover, the knot can cause faults in the feed of the loop. To prevent these disadvantages, the loops are interconnected on the carrier band by means of the yarn from which they are formed, and this yarn is a filament yarn, from which the loops are formed in that the yarn overlaps in a part region and the overlapping yarn portions are connected at least partially to one another.
