PURPOSE:To obtain the titled foamed body of magnification higher than conventional bodies by bringing a raw material compound manufactured by adding a crosslinking agent, a decomposable foaming agent, etc. to a thermoplastic resin raw material to a semi-crosslinking state once, foaming it with an expansion and mechanically crushing it. CONSTITUTION:The crosslinking agent, the decomposable foaming agent and other compounding agents as required are added and kneaded to the thermoplastic resin (such as polyethylene resin) raw material, thus forming the raw material compound. A die is filled with the raw material compound, and the compound is heated at a temperature where said decomposing foaming agent is not decomposed, thus forming a semi-crosslinked shape. The semi-crosslinked shape is heated under an expansible environment and formed while a cross- linking reaction is completed. Lastly, a material produced in this manner is crushed mechanically by a means such as a crushing roll and deformed, thus obtaining the thermoplastic resin foamed body with open cells. |
