PURPOSE:To enable to repeatedly print multiple times, by a method wherein a solid ink base film obtained by dispersing a filler in a heat-fusible ink is provided with a sealing film for preventing the ink from leaking on the side faced to a thermal head, and is provided with a sealing film for preventing the filler from leaking on the side faced to a transfer recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The solid ink base film 2 obtained by dispersing the filler 5 in the heat-fusible ink is provided with the sealing film for preventing the ink from leaking on the side facing the thermal head, and is provided with the sealing film 4 for preventing the filler 5 from leaking on the side facing the transfer recording paper. The heat-fusible ink is preferably a solid ink obtained by mixing a low melting point material such as carnauba wax and a dye with each other. The filler is, for example, carbon black. The sealing film 4 mey be formed of, for example, an aromatic polyester base material, and the film thickness is preferably 10-80mum from a practical point of view. The sealing film 3 may be provided by applying a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol, which produces a favorable result. |
