A temperature sensor which can be inserted between two gills of a heat exchanger has a double-channel tube, which accommodates the bare leads in an insulated fashion and at one end accommodates a cap which envelops the temperature-dependent resistor with the interposition of a thermally conductive composition. The other end of the tube is inserted into a terminal out of which a strain relief connecting cable is led.
